Skoda Yeti Review
Skoda Yeti is a combination of an off-roader and a small hatchback but it is labeled as a crossover with similar vein features to Nissan Qashqai and is also compared to Honda CR-V and Ford Kuga. You may not know it but Skoda Yeti is also a mix of affordability and running costs with extra practicality in a stylish 4×4.
Creating the Skoda Yeti is a great success and it’s best as a family car because it’s roomy and versatile. Four adults can occupy this SUV with so much space left and has big legroom for the passengers at the back plus a large boot. Yeti is tall in shape which helps with headroom making the cabin spacious and feels light. This is a must car for long journey.
It’s available as a four wheel drive and is really useful in slippery roads. But it’s really surprising how this Yeti handles the rough off-road terrain. It’s like a huge SUV that doesn’t even struggle. It has a responsive steering, positive gear change and good body control. And due to the superb engine, handling, and steering, it’s so much easier to drive in a busy city even when parking.
The overall performance should be credited to the 2.0 TDI engine and has a turbo charger which even more increases its performance and fuel economy.
The latest variants of Skoda Yeti have a new feature called Downhill Assistant. It is a new function which enables the driver to have a complete control when going down on an extremely steep hill. Skoda Yeti is excellent in both on and off-road drivability due to the fourth generation Haldex clutch system and 180mm ground clearance. Skoda is an all in one SUV which is required by all. It has low carbon emission, fuel efficient, outstanding flexibility, economical running cost, less environment impact and great practicality. These are all the hallmarks of a crossover vehicle.
